1. About these terms

These terms apply to the IrisDeck app and this website. They are the same conditions you agree to when you first start IrisDeck. IrisDeck is bought and licensed through the Microsoft Store, whose terms also apply to your purchase and licence.

2. Where your content is stored

IrisDeck stores the files you add in a folder you choose on your PC. IrisDeck does not automatically send your files or notes to the developer. If you use a separate cloud sync or backup service for that folder, that service may upload your content according to its settings.

See the privacy policy for details. Making backups is up to you; IrisDeck offers backups and a library check to help. The hidden library is encrypted with its own 6-digit PIN, which is stored nowhere — if you forget it, the hidden library can’t be recovered, not by you and not by us.

3. Copyright and permitted use

Copyright and other rights in saved photos, videos, and text remain with their respective rights holders. Save and use content only if you own the relevant rights, have permission from the rights holder, or are otherwise permitted to do so under applicable law.

Personal storage or reference use does not automatically make copying permissible. Do not repost or distribute content without permission or another valid legal basis, or otherwise infringe anyone’s rights.

4. Your responsibilities and limits of liability

You must comply with applicable laws. You must not add content you are not authorized to keep, or use IrisDeck to infringe anyone’s rights.

Nothing in this notice excludes or limits any liability the developer bears under applicable law, including liability arising from intentional misconduct or negligence, or any statutory rights you may have.

5. Changes

We may update these terms. When an update changes the conditions you agree to when you first start IrisDeck, the app asks you again.
